Adele Thaxton is the current owner/manager of Healing Hands. She is a graduate of the Academy of Massage and Bodywork and a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals and the American Massage Therapy Association. Adele is a Board-Certified Licensed Massage Therapist with a background in medicine as a Registered Nurse. She holds an Associate's Degree, a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Nursing. She did bedside nursing for over 12 years, but now finds more joy in massage and bodywork. Over the years, Adele has grown a love and passion for massage where she hopes to continue to grow and learn. The therapeutic work of massage is something she finds to be rewarding and feels joy seeing the difference she can make in helping others feel better with the touch of a hand. She puts all of her passion and love into her work because that is what she feels generates the best results for her clients and their overall well-being.

Shalanie Cotton ( Shy ) CMT a graduate of National Massage Therapy Institute. She is a member of AMTA. Her goal is to create a positive impact on her clients health and support them in their journey of wellness, by utilizing 10 plus years of experience in massage therapy, she strives to assist each of her clients in reaching their goals of pain management, increase range of motion and relaxation. Shalanie has hands of intuition that will give you nurturing comfort while providing therapeutic techniques to give you the proper care your body needs. She specializes in therapeutic massage with the intent to balance the body, by adjusting to each client. Shalanie has the knowledge and passion using many different specialties, including but not limited, to trigger point therapy, Swedish massage, sports massage and deep tissue.

Kai Chan Lee is a Licensed Massage Therapist who has a passion for massage and holistic healing. Kai is a graduate of Healing Hands School of Massage and a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals. Kai first gained interest in massage after getting his first professional massage over 15 years ago. Kai is also a Registered Nurse of over 8 years and cares deeply about using his craft to help those in the caring profession with their healing to stay on the job. Kai is very excited to be joining us on his journey as a massage therapist and has expertise in Reflexology, Swedish, Deep Tissue, and HotStone massages.

​OFFICE ASSISTANT
Julienne Zuniga is our skilled and talented Office Assistant. She comes to us with over 10 years of customer service experience and an extensive background knowledge of e-commerce, interpersonal skills, and customer support. She provides excellence in collaborating with the team to ensure quality delivery of client needs. In addition, Julienne has strong communication and computer skills to assist with customer support and the smooth operations of our daily management here at Healing Hands.
